There was a man sent from
God, whose name was John. He came as a witness
to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.
He himself was not
the light, but he came to testify to the light.
The true light (Jesus Christ), which
enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. John
1:6-9.
And this is the judgment, that the light has come into
the world, and people loved darkness rather than light
because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do
not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed.
But those who do
what is true come to the light, so that
it may be clarify seen that their deeds have been done in God. John 3:19-21.
