Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend your money on something that is not real food? Why work for something that does not really satisfy you? Listen closely to me, and you will eat what is good; your soul will enjoy the rich food that satisfies. Isaiah 55:1-2.
Wealth can vanish in wink of an eye. It can seem to grow wings and fly away like an eagle. Proverbs 23:5.
Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 1Peter 3:4. Amen.
