The New life In Christ: “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” Luke 4:21.

The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom
for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
 Luke 4:17-19.
All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do. Galatians 2:10.
…for whom I am again in the pain of childbirth until Christ is formed in you… Galatians 4:19. Amen.

The New life In Christ: By his bruises we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.

He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity; and as one from whom others hide their faces he was despised and we held him of an account. Isaiah 53:3.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.
The righteous one, my servant, shall make many righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:11. Amen.

The New life In Christ: All things were made through Christ and for Christ. Colossians 1:16.

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the LORD one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but in patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. 2Peter 3:8-9.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8.
And without faith it is impossible to please God… Hebrews 11:6.

The New life In Christ: Regulations concerning Tithes…



…contributing a freewill offering in proportion to the blessing that you have received from the LORD your God.
… as well as the srrangers, the orphans, and the widows who are among you - at the place that the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his name. Deuteronomy 16:10-11.
Since there will never cease to be some in need on the earth, I therefore command you, “Open your hand to the poor and needy neighbor in your land.” Deuteronomy 15:11.
Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God.
…Your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. Acts 10: 4 & 10:31. Amen.

The New life In Christ: Love Of Money.

The sins of some man are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden. 1Timothy 5:24-25.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil…
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
Fight the good faith of the faith. 1Timothy 6:10-12. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: …and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. Philippians 3:17.

Finally,… whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Philippians 4:8.
All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Philippians 3:15-16.
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1Corinthians 9:24.

Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law, (though I myself am not under the law), I became like one under the law, so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means, I might save some.
Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; 1Corinthians 9:19-26. Amen.
