The New Life in Christ: Try to find out what is pleasing to the LORD. Ephesians 5:10.

How terrible it will be for those who make unfair laws, and those who write laws that make like hard for people. They are not fair to the poor, and they rob my people of their rights.

They allow people to steal from widows and to take from orphans what really belongs to them. Isaiah 10:1-2.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:27.

Be the doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves. James 1:22. Amen.
