The LORD said to Moses … “ At twilight you will eat meat, and every morning you will eat all the bread you want. Then you will know ‘I am the LORD your God.’ ”
The Israelites ate manna for forty years, until they came to the land where they settled. Exodus 16:11-12 & 16:35.
Then the LORD spoke his word to Elijah: “Leave this place…and I have commanded ravens to bring you food there.” So Elijah did what the LORD said; …Then the LORD spoke his word to Elijah, Go…I have commanded a widow there to take care of you.”1Kings17:2-7.
Then Elijah walked for a whole day into the desert. He sat down under a bush and asked to die… Suddenly an angel came to him and touched him, “Get up and eat,” the angel said… The food made him strong to walk… 1Kings 19:4-8.
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or What shall we wear?’…and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Matthew 6:31-32.
But Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1Timothy 6:6. Amen.
