But the LORD of hosts, him you shall regard as holy; let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. Isaiah 8:11-13.
Alas for those who go down to Egypt for help and who rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!

The New Life In Christ: For Christ did not send me to baptize… 1Corinthians 1:17.

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
The intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 1Corinthians 1:17-19.

The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Luke 3:9. Amen.

Tuesday, 20 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: Yes Father, for this was your good pleasure. Luke 10:21.

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.
Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more treasure than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-all she had to live on.” Mark 12:41-44.

Jesus answered, ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen but the end is still to come. Matthew 24:4-6.
As he taught, Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. My child, if you accept my words and treasure up my commandments within you,
making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding;
if you indeed cry out for insight, and raise your voice for understanding;
If you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures-
then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:1-6.

Better is a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble with it. Proverbs 15:16.
For human ways are under the eyes of the LORD, and he examines all their paths. Proverbs 5:21. Amen.

Saturday, 17 March 2012

The New Life n Christ: …but for a whole month until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you-because you have rejected

Where am I to get meat to give to all this people? For they come weeping to me and say, ‘Give us meat to eat!’ I am not able to carry all this people alone, for they are too heavy for me. If this the way you are going to treat me, put me to death at once-if I have favour in your sight-and do not let me see my misery.” Moses said to the LORD. Numbers 11:13-15.
The LORD said to Moses, ‘Is the LORD’s power limited? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.” Numbers 11:23.
Then a wind went out from the LORD and it brought quails from the sea and let them fall beside the camp…all around the camp…
But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was consumed, the anger of the LORD was before it was consumed, the anger of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD struck the people with a great plague. Numbers: 31-33.
(This is the end of the people who seek God for the material blessings alone.) Amen.

Friday, 16 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: By this I know that you are pleased with me; because my enemy has not triumphed over me. Psalm 41:11.

You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your record? Psalm 56:8.
I have passed out of mind like one who is dead; I have become like a broken vessel- For I hear the whispering of many terror all around!- as they scheme together of against of many-terror all around!
But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand; deliver me from the hands of my enemies and persecutors. Let your face shine upon your servant; save me in your steadfast love. Do not let me be put to shame O LORD, for I call on you; Psalm 31:14-17.
And when they came to see me, they utter empty words, while their hearts gather mischief; when they go out, they fell at abroad. Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. Amen.

Thursday, 15 March 2012

Wednesday, 14 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: …because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2.

For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what the nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Romans 8:3-5.
The LORD will send upon you disaster, panic, and frustration in everything you attempt to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly on account of the evil of you deeds, because you have forsaken me. Deuteronomy 28:20.
Amen.

Tuesday, 13 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; Joshua 1:8.

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to act in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful. Joshua 1:7-8.
But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed I would not have known what sin was except through the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “Do not covet.”
…But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from law, sin is dead. Romans 7:6-7.
So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good. Romans 7:12. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me. Numbers 22:32.

So Balaam got up in the morning saddled his donkey, and went with the officials of Noab.
God’s anger was kindled because he was going, and the angel of the LORD took his stand in the road as his adversary…The donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road, with a drawn sword in his hands; so the donkey turned off the road…and Balaam struck the donkey, to turn it back on to the road.
Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on either side. When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, it scraped against the wall, and scraped Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck it again.
Then the angel of the LORD went ahead, and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn either to the right or to the left. When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, It lay down under Balaam; …and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with his staff.
Then the LORD opened the mouth of donkey, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have made a fool of me!”
Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam.
…The angel of the LORD said to him, “…The donkey saw me, and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away from me, surely just now I would have killed you and let live.”
Them Balaam said to the angel of the LORD, “I have sinned…I will return home.” Numbers 22:21-34.
(Recognize the will of God through the well wishers in our day today life.) Amen.

There was a man who had two sons. H e went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’
‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
“Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.
“Which of the two did what his father wanted?”
“The first,” they answered.
Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him. Matthew 21:28-32.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21.
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone, the Lord did this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? Matthew 21:42. Amen.

Saturday, 10 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?” Luke 6:41.

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins…” Matthew 9:6.
What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about the one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost. Matthew 18:12-14.
The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
“First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.”
“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone. Mark 7:26-30.
“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: Rules for Holy living:

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all those virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:9-10
& 3:12-14.
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:2.
All must test their own work; Galatians 6:4. Amen.

Thursday, 8 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; 1Corinthians 9:26.

Though I free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law, but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I am share in its blessings. 1Corinthians 9:19-23.
I know what is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty…I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13.

Wednesday, 7 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:25.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is Christ. Ephesians 4:14-15.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30. Amen.

Tuesday, 6 March 2012

For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever. Psalm 9:18.
…you have been the helper of the orphan. Psalm 10:14.
But I am a worm, and not human; scorned by others, and despised by the people. All who see me mock at me; they make mouths at me, they shake their heads; “Commit your cause to the LORD; let him deliver-let him rescue the one in whom he delights!” Psalm 22:6-8.
“Because of the poor are despoiled, because the needy groan, I will now rise up,” says the LORD; “I will place them in the safety for which they long.”
The promises of the LORD are promises that are pure, silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. Psalm 12:5-6. Amen.

Monday, 5 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: Accused is the one who is slack in doing the work of the LORD: Jeremiah 48:10.

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Philippians 1:27.
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my job complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:1-5.
Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8. Amen.

Sunday, 4 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: We put no stumbling block in any one’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 2Corinthians 6:3.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.
…so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and together with you be refreshed. Romans 15:32.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit. 1Corinthians 2:13.
We live by faith, not by sight. 2Corinthians 5:7.
Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” 1Corinthians 1:26.

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3. Amen.

Saturday, 3 March 2012

The New Life In Christ: But how can I bear the heavy burden of your disputes all by myself? Deuteronomy 1:12.

I will come down and talk with you there; and I will take some of the spirit that is on you and put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people along with you so that you will not bear it all by yourself. Numbers 11:17.
The LORD your God has multiplied you, so that today you are as numerous as the stars of heaven. May the LORD, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times more than and bless you, as he has promised you! But how can I bear the heavy burden of your disputes all by myself?
Choose for each of your tribes individuals who are wise, discerning, and reputable to be your leaders.  Deuteronomy 1:10-13.
“Give the members of your community a fair hearing, and judge rightly between one person and another, whether citizen or resident alien. You must not be partial in judging…for the judgment is God’s. Deuteronomy 1:16-17.
But, “Let him who boasts boast in the LORD.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. 2Corinthians 10:17-18. Amen.

Friday, 2 March 2012

Woe to you… you give a tenth of your spices-mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. Matthew 23:23.
These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Mark 7:6.
You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.
And he laid to them: “You have a fine way of getting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions. For Moses said, ‘Honor your father...’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Mark 7:8-13.
Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well, keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action is dead. James 2: 15-17. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD. Isaiah 55:8.

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Isaiah 55:2.
Whom did you dread and fear so that you lied, and did not remember me or give me a thought? Have I not kept silent and closed my eyes, and so you do not fear me? I will concede your righteousness and your works, but they will not help you. Isaiah 57:11-12.
(“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven”. Matthew 7:21.)
No one brings suit justly, no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies, conceiving mischief and begetting iniquity. Isaiah 59:4.
The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their paths. Isaiah 59:8.
Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands at a distance; for truth stumbles in the public square, and uprightness can not enter. Truth is lacking, and whoever turns from evil is despoiled. Isaiah 59:14-15.
See, it is written before me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay…says the LORD. Isaiah 65:6. Amen.
