The New Life In Christ: I will concede your righteousness and your works, but they will not help you. Isaiah 57:12.

The LORD will send upon you disaster, panic, and frustration in everything you attempt to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me. Deuteronomy 28:20.
Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Isaiah 55:2.
Whom did you dread and fear so that you lied, and did not remember me or give me a thought? Have I not kept silent and closed my eyes, and so you do not fear me? Isaiah 57:11.
No one brings suit justly, no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies, conceiving mischief and begetting iniquity. Isaiah 59:4. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: …the fear of the LORD is Zions treasure. Isaiah 33:6.

Those who walk righteously and speak uprightly, who despise the gain of oppression, who wave away a bribe instead of accepting it, who stop their ears from hearing of bloodshed and shut their eyes from looking on evil,
they will live on the heights;
their refuge will be the fortresses of rocks; their food will be supplied, that water assured. Isaiah 33:15-16.
Have you not brought this upon yourself by forsaking the LORD your God, while he led you in the way? Jeremiah 2:17.
Your wickedness will punish you, and your apostasies will convict you. Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the LORD your God; the fear of me is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts. Jeremiah 2:19. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: …even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Isaiah 1:15.

Do those who plow for sowing plow continually? Do they continually open and harrow their ground? When they have leveled its surface, do they not scatter dill, sow cumin, and plant wheat in rows and barley in its proper place, and spelt as the border? For they are well instructed; their God teaches them. Isaiah 28:24-25.
Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:16-17.
The LORD said:
Because these people draw near with their mouths and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their worship of me is a human commandment learned by rote; Isaiah 29:13. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: Turn away from mortals, who have only breath in their nostrils, for of what account are they? Isaiah 2:22.

For the LORD spoke thus to me while his hand was strong upon me, and warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what it fears, or be in dread. But the LORD of hosts, him you shall regard as holy; let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. Isaiah 8:11-13.
Alas for those who go down to Egypt for help and who rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!
The Egyptians are human, and not God; their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and the one helped will fall, and they will all perish together. Isaiah 31:1 & 31:3. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: So then, no more boasting about men. All things are yours… 1Corinthians 3:21.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1Corinthians 3:9.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God temple is sacred, and you are that temple.1Corinthians 3:16-17.
Because there is one loaf, we who are many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf. 1Corinthians 10:17.
The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty… As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves! Galatians 5:10 & 5:12. Amen.
We live by faith (Spiritual blessings), not by sight. (Material blessings.) 2Corinthians 5:7.
“I believed; therefore I have spoken.” 2Corinthians 4:13. Amen.

The New Life In Christ: For Christ did not send me to baptize… 1Corinthians 1:17.

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
The intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 1Corinthians 1:17-19.
My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20.
Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. 1Corinthians 1:26.
Amen.

The New Life In Christ: …the LORD will see it and be displeased… Proverbs 24:18.

No one brings suit justly, no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speaks lies, conceiving mischief and begetting iniquity. Isaiah 59:4.
Truth is lacking, and whoever turns from evil is despoiled.
The LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, and was applied that there was no one to intervene; Isaiah 59:15-16.
But this is the one to whom I will look, to the humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at my word. Isaiah 66:2.
How lightly you gad about, changing your ways! Jeremiah 2:36. Amen.
