The New Life In Christ - This does not surprise us. Even Satan changes himself to like an angel of light. 2Corinthians 11:14.

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? Those people are working hard to persuade you, but this is not good for you. They want to persuade you to turn against us and follow only them. Galatians 4:16-17.
But I trust in the Lord that you will not believe those different ideas. Whoever is confusing you with such ideas will be punished. Galatians 5:10.
Serve each other with love.
So I tell you: Live by following the Spirit. Then you will not do what your sinful selves want. Galatians 5:13 & 5:16.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their own sinful selves. They have given up their old selfish feelings and the evil things they wanted to do. Galatians 5:24.
Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done. Each person must be responsible for himself. Galatians 6:4-5.
…but test every thing; hold fast to what is good; 1Thessalonians 5:21. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - Trusting in Humans or God: In the later days you will understand this clearly. Jeremiah 23:20.

This is what the LORD says:
A curse is placed on those who trust other people, who depend on human for strength, who have stopped trusting the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5.
They keep saying to those who despise the word of the LORD, “It shall be well with you”; and to all who stubbornly follow their own stubborn hearts, they say, “No calamity shall come upon you.” Jeremiah 23:17.
They plan to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell one another…
Although they know God’s law says … but they themselves not only continue to do these evil things, they applaud others who do them. Romans 1:32.
Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let the one who has my word speak my word faithfully. Is  straw the same thing as wheat? says the LORD.
Is not my word like fire, says the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?  Jeremiah 23:27-29.
This (the word of God) is hard teaching. Who can accept it? John 6:60.
“Do you wish to go away?” …Jesus asked.
…think of what you were when you were called. 1Corinthians 1:26.
…and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. 1Corinthians 3:13. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - The LORD says, “Present your case.” “Tell me your arguments.” Isaiah 41:21. “I show that the lying prophets signs are false; I make fools of those who do magic…” Isaiah 44:25.

How terrible it will be for those people… They think horses will save them. They think their many chariots and strong horseman will save them. But they don’t trust God, the Holy one…or ask the LORD for help.
They (The Egyptians) are only people and not God.
Their horses are only animals and are not spirit. Isaiah 31:1-3.
Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:32-33.
What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe-as the Lord assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
So then, no more boasting about men! 1Corinthians 3:5-7 & 3:21.
I myself am the LORD;
I am the only Savior.
I myself have spoken to you, saved you, and told you these things… Isaiah 43:11-12. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - …the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:10.

There is a vanity that takes place on earth, that there are righteous people who are treated according to the conduct of the wicked, and there are wicked people who are treated according to the conduct of the righteous. I said that this is also is vanity. Ecclesiastes 8:14.
…since the same fate comes to all, to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil.
…For God has long ago approved what you do. Ecclesiastes 9:2 & 9:7.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord rescues them from all. He keeps all their bones; not one of them will be broken. Psalm 34:19.
…But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:10.
And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit. Romans 8:27. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - …And when you search for me with all heart, you will find me. Jeremiah 29:13.

I am the voice… John 1:23.
We are not trying to control to control your faith. You are strong in faith. But we are workers with you for your own joy. 2Corinthians 1:24.
We do not sell the word of God for a profit as many people do. But in Christ we speak the truth before God as messengers of God… 2Corinthians 2:17.
For there is one God, there is also one mediator between God and human being, Christ Jesus, himself  human, who gave himself a ransom for all. 1Timothy 2:5-6.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - “I have faith in Christ!”… Troubles or persecution arises on account of the word. Matthew 13:21. …But God was with him, and rescued him from all his troubles… Acts 7:9.

God is the One who made all things, his and all things for glory. He wanted to have many children share his glory, so he made the One who leads people to salvation perfect through suffering. Hebrews 2:10.
God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time. This makes you very happy, even though now for s short time different kinds of troubles may make you sad. These troubles come to prove that your faith is true. This purity of faith is worth more than gold, which can be proved to be pure by fire but will ruin. But the purity of your faith will bring you praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is shown to you. … And you are receiving the goal of your faith-the salvation of your souls. 1Peter 1:5-9.
…yet if any of you suffers as a Christian, do not consider it a disgrace, but glorify God because you bear his name.
1Peter 4:16.
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. 1Peter 4:11. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - “I will tell you the kind of fast I want: Isaiah 58:6.

Share your food with the hungry and bring poor, homeless people into your own homes. When you someone who has no clothes, give him yours, and don’t refuse to help your own relatives. Isaiah 58:6-7.
And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. As it is written, “He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 2Corinthians 9:8-9 & 9:13. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory…
Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you are blessed by my Father…
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The king will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of  the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.’ Matthew 25:31-40.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Proverbs 3:27. Amen.

Tuesday, 22 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - What good is it …if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? James 2:14.

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-17.
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ lend to ‘sinners’, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good for them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is to the ungrateful and wicked. But be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Luke 6:32-36.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - We live by faith, not by sight. 2Corinthians 5:7.

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministries of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2Corinthians 3:5-6.
Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 2Corinthians 4:1-2.
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 2Corinthians 4:8-10.
Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2Corinthians 4:16. Amen.

Sunday, 20 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2Timothy 2:7.

“The Lord knows those who are his,” and “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 2Timothy 2:19 & 2:24.
(But) For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn  their ears away from the truth and turn aside of myths.
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. 2Timothy 4:3-5.
Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives. Titus 3:14. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - A workman Approved by God

Since an overseer is entrusted with God’s work, he must be blameless not over bearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. Titus 1:7-9.
In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that can not be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive. Titus 2:7-10.
These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. Titus 3:8. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - You received with out payment; give without payment. Matthew 10:8.

In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. But I have made no use of any of these rights…for an obligation is laud on me… What then is my reward? Just this: that in my proclamation I make the gospel free of charge. 1Corinthians 9:14-18.
I wanted with my own hands to support myself and my companions… I have given you an example that by such work we must support the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, for he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:34-35.
…and to work with your own hands as we directed you. 1Thessalanians 3:11.
…and you also, when you have done all that you were ordered to do, say, “We are worthless slaves; we have done only what we ought to have done.”
…and we grow from the work of our own hands. 1Corinthians 4:12.
…and observe those who live according to the example you have in us… Philippians 3:17. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - …yet, they can not find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11.

If what a prophet says in the name of the Lord does not happen, it is not the Lord’s message. That prophet was speaking his own ideas. Deuteronomy 18:22.
Those false teachers only want your money, so they will use you by telling you lies… 2Peter 2:3.
By your own rules, which you teach people, you are rejecting what God said. And you do many things like that. Mark 7:13.
…they indulge their own lusts; they are bombastic in speech, flattering people to their own advantage. Jude 1:16.
“No servant is greater than his master” John 15:20.
If I had not come and spoke to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. John 15:22.
We must obey God rather than any human authority. Acts 5:29.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; 1John 4:1. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - No one can explain the things God decides or understand his ways. Romans 11:33.

All of them seeking their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:21.
they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean… Ezekiel 22:26.
Listen to the word of the Lord…Mortal, prophesy against the prophets… who are prophesying…say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination. Ezekiel 13:2.
…they do not know what the future holds, and no one can tell them what will happen. Ecclesiastes 8:7.
Their worship of me is worthless. The things they teach are nothing but human rules. Mark 7:7.
…but test everything; hold fast to what is good; 1Thessalonians 5:21. Amen.

Tuesday, 15 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - ...you accepted it not as a human word, but as what is really is, God’s word… Thessalonians 2:13.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need some one to teach you again the basic elements of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food; for everyone who lives on milk, being still on infant, is unskilled in the word of righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties have been trained by practice to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:12-14.
Therefore let us go on toward perfection, leaving behind the basic teaching about Christ, and not laying down the foundationHebrews 6:1-2.
Welcome him (Epaphroditus) … Give honor to people like him, because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life… Philippians 2:21 & 2:29-30.
Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ…does not have God; Do not welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching. 2John 1:9-10.
And now, Lord…grant to your servants to speak your word with boldness, …through the name of your holy servant, Jesus Acts 4:29. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” Romans 2:24.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me from the least of them to the greatest. Hebrews 8:11.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.John 13:34-35.
…in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1Corinthians 1:10.
They really try to follow God, but they do not know the right way. Because they did not know the way that God makes people right with him, they tried to make themselves right in their own way. So they did not accept God’s way of making people right. Romans 10:2-3.
Do not think you are better than you are. You must decide what you really are by the amount of faith God has given you. Romans 12:3.
Anyone who has the gift of serving should serve. Anyone who has the gift of teaching should teach. Whoever has the gift of encouraging others should encourage. Whoever has the gift of giving to others should give freely. Anyone who has the gift of being a leader should try hard when he leads.
Whoever has the gift of showing mercy to others should go with joy. Romans 12:7-8.
…and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. 1Corinthians 3:13. Amen.

Sunday, 13 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Philippians 4:11.

A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1.
Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich; be wise enough to control yourself. Wealth can vanish in the wink of an eye. It can seem to grow wings and fly away like an eagle. Proverbs 23:4-5.
My child, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad. My soul will rejoice when your lips speak what is right. Proverbs 23:15-16.
A truthful person will have many blessings (spiritual) but those eager to get rich will be punished. Proverbs 28:20.
For every one looks out for his own interests, not those of Christ. Philippians 2:21.
What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord for whose sake I have lost all things. Philippians 3:8.
…and find out what pleases the Lord. Ephesians 5:10. Amen.

Saturday, 12 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - The Lord’s blessings (spiritual) bring wealth, and no sorrow comes with it. … Those who trust in riches (material) will be ruined…Proverbs 10:22 & 11:28.

WISDOM IS IMPORTANT!
…making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; if you indeed cry out for insight, and raise your voice for understanding;
If you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures-then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; Proverbs 2:2-6.
Get wisdom; get insight…
Hold on to wisdom, and it will take care of you. Love it, and it will keep you safe, Proverbs 4:5-6.
Keep all that you have learned; it is most important thing in life. Proverbs 4:13.
I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; Rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:12. Amen.

Friday, 11 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? Mark 12:24.

Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. “Teacher,” they said, “…Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children. The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third. In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too. At the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?”
Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
... He is not the God of the dead, but of living. You are badly mistaken!” Mark 12:18-27.
…for I am speaking to men who know the law… Romans 7:1. Amen.

Thursday, 10 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - Have salt in yourselves Mark 9:50.

…for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day… Acts 17:11.
“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. Luke 11:21.
Riches and honor are mine to give. So are wealth and lasting success, What I give is better than the finest gold, better than the purest silver. Proverbs 8:18-19.
…in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness… 2Corinthians 6:7.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strong holds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of  God… 2Corinthians 10:4-5.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11.
But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils. Luke 11:22.
People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with money griefs. 1Timothy 6:9-10.
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. Romans 13:14. Amen.

Wednesday, 9 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - “Love your neighbor as yourself…Do this and you will live” Luke 27-28.

On an occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus… He wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, ‘And who is my neighbor?”
In reply Jesus said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the inn-keeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
The expert in the replied, “The one who had mercy on him,”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” Luke 10:25-37.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? … And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Matthew 5:46-47.
All must test their own work; Galatians 6:4.Amen.

Tuesday, 8 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - Consider how you have fared. Haggai 1:5.

“The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.” Matthew 13:37.
“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:
·        When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
(But people are tempted when their own evil leads them away and traps them. This desire leads to sin… James 1:14-15.)
·        The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at ones receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
(So you are not loyal to God! You should know the loving the world is the same as hating God. James 4:4.)
·        The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making unfruitful.
(He is a double minded man, unstable in all he does. James 1:8).
·        (But) The one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown,” Matthew 13:18-23.
(As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for human desire, but rather for the will of God….However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name 1Peter 4:2 & 4:16) Amen.

The New Life In Christ - “I believed, and so I spoke” 2Corinthians 4:13.

Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved. (both past and the present life) Matthew 9:17.
and both are preserved…
We should not forget our painful moments which we have experienced in our past life. They should be kept in the corner of our hearts. So that only we will not mistreat others. So that only we will not ignore others. So that only we will not hurt others and will not do any evil against others who are experiencing the same.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12.
Praise be to the God…who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2Corinthians 1:3-5.
Do everything in love. 1Corinthians 16:14.
Each one should test his own actions, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load. Galatians 6:4-5. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - A fair balance……

...give me neither poverty nor richer; feed me with the food I need, or I shall be full, and deny you…or I shall be poor, and steel, and profane the name of my God. Proverbs 30:8-9.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. … Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be equality, as it is written: “He who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little.” 2Corinthians 8:8-15.
As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21.
Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 2Corinthians 9:9 & 9:13. Amen.

Saturday, 5 November 2011

The New Life In Christ - You have not remembered me or even thought about me. I have been quiet for a long time. Is that way you are not afraid of me? Isaiah 57:11.

Why you spend money on something that is not real food? Why work for something that doesn’t really satisfy you? Isaiah 55:2.
“My people have done two evils: They have turned away from me, the spring of living water (spiritual blessings). And they have dug their own wells, which are broken wells that can not hold water (material blessings). Jeremiah 2:13.
You take unfair interest and profits and make profits by mistreating your neighbor. And you have forgotten me, says the LORD God. …Will you still be brave and strong when I punish you? I, the Lord have spoken, and I will act. Ezekiel 22:12-13.
The faithful will abound with blessings, but one who is in a hurry to be rich will not go unpunished. Proverbs 28:20.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. …People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1Timothy 6:6-10. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21.

A person who does what is right and speaks what is right, who refuses to take money unfairly, who refuses to take money to hurt others, who does not listen to plans of murder, (plans to kill the souls), who refuses to think about evil-this is the kind of person who will be safe. He will be protected as he would be in a high walled city. He will always have bread, and he will not run out of water. Isaiah 33:15-16.
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; Hebrews 13:5.
…and be satisfied with your wages. Luke 3:14.
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it. Proverbs 15:16.
Better to be poor and walk in integrity than to be crooked on one’s way even though rich. Proverbs 28:6.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth…but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - God says, “I left you for a short time, but with great kindness I will bring you back again.” Isaiah 54:7.

He (Jesus) said, “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’
For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming.
And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly.
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable. “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men… I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
‘I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. Luke 18:2-8 & 18:9-14.
Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12-13.
The Lord God gave me the ability to teach so that I know what to say to make the weak strong. Isaiah 50:4. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Matthew 23:13.

Jesus spoke to them… “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
“Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: … But they paid no attention and went off-one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. … “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. Matthew 22:1-10.
“For many are invited, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14.
He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. Luke 1:53.
Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. Matthew 22:29.
“You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” Mark 8:33. Amen.

The New Life In Christ - I will show kindness to anyone to whom I want to show kindness, and I will show mercy to anyone to whom I want to show mercy. Exodus 33:19.

When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisees’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of she is-that she is a sinner.” (“Do not put the Lord your God to the test” Matthew 4:7 (I (Jesus) tell you the truth, “all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven: he is guilty of an eternal sin.” Mark 3:28-29)
Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”
“Tell me, teacher,” he said.
“Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”
Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger dept canceled.”
“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
….Therefore, I tell you her many sins have been forgiven-for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.”
Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you: go in peace.” Luke 7:36-50.
Another result of forgiveness is that God doesn't keep a record of our sins, He does not hold them against us. Because the blood of Christ covered our sins, God chooses to put them out of His mind.
"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." Isaiah 43:25. Amen.
